Friends & Family Initiative is a local nonprofit organization with a mission to use a holistic approach towards transforming our communities through program initiatives and development, along with, community collaboratives.
The initiative started as a local choir in 2015, directed by the Co-Founder/Executive Director, Parrish Davenport. Members from many neighborhoods unite to sing and most of all obtain resources to improve their lives.
In 2018 the nonprofit expanded into #morethanjustachoir. FFI began developing community initiatives and programming for both youth and adults in the Greater Pittsburgh region. Along with the expansion of community resources, community collaboratives were developed.
Help us raise funds for the Fall 2023 Programming
This Fall, FFI is launching new programming at the request of youth, community members, and community stakeholders. We are excited to get started with programming and expand our community engagement.
- To truly make an impact and contribution to our community, we need to raise $10,000 for Fall 2023
- To Support Fall 2023 programming, we need to raise $8,000.
- To Meet the Minimum for Fall 2023 Programming, we need to raise $6,160

FFI is pouring into the community, ensuring that we work strategically towards improving the quality of life for our youth and adults.
Last year, FFI engaged collaboratively. This year, we are expanding further with new programming.
Programming is designed to align with the 4 Core focuses, utilizing the Circle of Courage as a model.
